Service Description

This 8-week Zoom course, based on Velton W. Showell III’s book Leadership Dynamics: The Principles of Leadership, is designed to help you become a better leader—not just in the workplace, but also at home, in your community, and in any group you're part of. Whether you're interested in leading in your school, starting your own business, helping out in your community, or guiding your family, this course will give you the tools to inspire and motivate others. Each week, you'll join interactive sessions where we’ll discuss real-life situations, work on practical activities, and learn how to apply leadership skills to many different areas of life. What to Expect: Week 1-2: Discovering What Makes a Leader We’ll start by figuring out what leadership means, and how it's not just about being the "boss." You’ll learn how to lead by example and how to create your own leadership style that fits your personality, whether you're leading a team, your friends, or even your family. Week 3-4: Setting Goals and Creating a Vision Great leaders know how to set a clear vision—whether it’s for a business, a community project, or personal goals. You’ll learn how to create a plan that inspires others and helps you work together as a group, whether you’re planning an event, a project, or just organizing a team. Week 5-6: Building Strong Relationships with Emotional Intelligence Leading isn’t just about giving orders; it’s about understanding people’s emotions and building strong relationships. In these weeks, you’ll learn how to read emotions, communicate well, and motivate others to work with you—whether at school, in your community, or at home. Week 7: Handling Change and Staying Strong Sometimes things don’t go according to plan. You’ll learn how to handle change and tough situations with resilience (the ability to bounce back) and lead others through hard times—whether in a group project, a family challenge, or starting a business. Week 8: Creating a Winning Culture In the final week, we’ll focus on how to build a positive environment where people feel motivated and excited to do their best work. Whether it’s in your school, community, or even your home, you’ll learn how to bring out the best in others and create a culture of success.
